PuppyTiger LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as WaverVanir International (“WaverVanir,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides this Privacy Policy to describe how we collect, use, disclose, and protect Personal Information of users of wavervanir.com and our related services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy is designed to satisfy the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), the California Online Privacy Protection Act (“CalOPPA”), Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83 (“Shine the Light”), and applicable provisions of CAN-SPAM and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to Personal Information we collect through wavervanir.com, account registration, subscription checkout, the WaverVanir Decision Support System (DSS), our Telegram channels and bots (including @VolanXBot), our email and SMS alert services, and any other channels that link to this Policy.

It does not apply to third-party websites, services, brokers, or platforms you choose to use independently, even if linked from our Services.

2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the past twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of Personal Information, as

We do not knowingly collect Sensitive Personal Information as defined by CPRA (e.g., SSN, driver’s license, precise geolocation, racial/ethnic origin, religious beliefs, biometric data, health information, sexual orientation, or contents of mail/email/messages other than to/from us). If we begin collecting any such category, we will update this Policy and provide a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” mechanism.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. Our Services require users to be 18 or older.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information for the following business purposes:
– Provide, maintain, and secure the Services
– Process subscriptions, renewals, refunds, and chargebacks
– Send transactional communications (purchase receipts, renewal notices, cancellation confirmations)
– Send marketing and educational communications where you have consented or where permitted by law
– Deliver trade alerts and educational signals via the channels you have authorized (email, SMS, Telegram)
– Comply with legal obligations including tax, anti-fraud, and recordkeeping requirements
– Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access
– Improve and develop our products
– Defend and assert legal rights
 

4. Sources of Personal Information

We collect Personal Information directly from you (forms, account signup, checkout, support inquiries), automatically through your use of the Services (cookies, analytics, server logs), and from service providers (payment processors, email/SMS infrastructure providers, hosting providers).
 

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

We disclose Personal Information to the following categories of recipients, under written contracts that limit their use of the data to the purposes for which we engaged them:

– Hosting and infrastructure providers
– Payment processors
– Email service providers (newsletter, transactional)
– SMS gateway providers
– Telegram (for messages you authorize us to send via Telegram)
– Analytics providers
– Fraud prevention and security vendors
– Tax preparers, accountants, attorneys, and other professional advisors
– Government agencies, regulators, or courts when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights

We do not sell Personal Information for monetary consideration. However, certain disclosures to analytics and advertising vendors may constitute “sharing” or a “sale” under the CPRA’s broad definitions (which include cross-context behavioral advertising). Where applicable, you may exercise your right to opt out using the methods in Section 8.

We have not disclosed Personal Information of consumers under 16 to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising or sale.
 

6. Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described above and to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Typical retention periods:

– Account and subscription records: duration of account plus 7 years (tax retention)
– Email/SMS opt-in records: duration of subscription plus 4 years
– Analytics data: 26 months (matching Google Analytics 4 default; updated to match the analytics platform actually deployed)
– Server logs: 90 days
– Marketing preferences: until you opt out
 

7. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the CCPA/CPRA:

Right to Know: request the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclosed it
Right to Delete: request deletion of Personal Information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
Right to Correct: request correction of inaccurate Personal Information
Right to Portability: receive a copy of your Personal Information in a portable format
Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing: opt out of any disclosure of your Personal Information that constitutes a “sale” or “sharing” under the CPRA
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: where applicable
Right to Non-Discrimination: we will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level or quality of service because you exercised any of these rights

How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit verifiable consumer requests through any of the following methods:

We will respond within 45 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you and may extend by an additional 45 days. We will verify your identity by matching information you provide against information already in our records.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you. We may require you to (a) verify your identity directly with us, and (b) confirm that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. If the agent is a business entity registered with the California Secretary of State, we will accept the registration as evidence of authority.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information for the browser making the signal.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and (where applicable) advertising. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and where a cookie preferences banner is available, through that interface.

10. Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83)

California residents may request, once per calendar year, information about Personal Information we shared with third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes during the preceding calendar year. To make such a request, email privacy@wavervanir.com with subject line “Shine the Light Request.”

11. Marketing Communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. To stop SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. You will continue to receive transactional communications (receipts, renewal notices, security alerts) regardless of marketing opt-out.

12. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

13. International Users

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access them from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to the U.S., which may have data-protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction.

We do not currently target the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you are a resident of the EEA or UK and submit Personal Information to us, please contact privacy@wavervanir.com to discuss your rights under applicable data protection laws.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date and, for active subscribers, communicated by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
